Write for us
We welcome pitches that help readers understand or try a thoughtful approach to conversation. Send proposals through the Contact page, with the reason the subject matters and the shape you think the piece should take.
What we welcome
We are interested in clear, original work about prompts, listening, discussion formats, question design and reflection. Pieces should give readers a distinct idea to consider, explain it in accessible language and respect the differences between people and settings.
A useful pitch
Tell us the working subject, the central point, who the piece is for and what makes your approach specific. Mention the kind of piece you have in mind, such as an explanation, comparison or occasion-based format. A short outline is more useful than a polished full draft sent without context.
Working together
Please send your proposal through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. We review pitches for fit, clarity and originality; sending one does not guarantee publication. Do not include private information about other people or claim credentials you do not hold.
A conversation is made by everyone in it.
A well-chosen question can open a door, but attention keeps it open. We look at the formats and small gestures that help an exchange feel shared.
